They have a successful reality TV show, grace the covers of magazines, are treated as the cream of society, set trends (and undoubtedly, some standards as well) plus run a business empire worth millions. What's behind our obsession with the Kardashians? What makes them so fascinating?.......... So, let's draw some conclusions about the obsession with Kardashians. What's so extra-ordinary about the Kardashian sisters? Are they pretty? Yes. Sexy? Definitely. Well-connected? Absolutely. But what are we fascinated by? It obviously can't be their intellect, talent, or work. (Incidentally, I researched definitions of celebrity well, most of them cite talent or accomplishment as a pre-requisite for celebrity or fame.)

When it comes to the Kardashians, I'm left amazed at their business savvy, it must have taken a brilliant mind (or brilliant minds) to turn one sexcapade into a claim to fame and a multi-million dollar enterprise. (Pretty much the Paris Hilton method.)
